FOOD ACCESS

We serve our community, South King and Pierce County- neighbors with healthy and culturally celebrated produce. This produce is grown at Living Well Kent Farms and distributed through our Food Hub, Northwest Harvest, local school districts, and 9 South King County Food banks. 2025 brought a new opportunity for Living Well Kent to manage the Kent Farmers Market!

• Operating a 2,000 SF Greenhouse (Auburn), 4-acre farm (Kent) and newly acquired 8-acre farm (Sumner)

• 26 farmers grew culturally appropriate crops and harvested 132,000 lbs. of produce from 4-acre farm and greenhouse in 2023. Youth are engaged in the farm throughout the year and we stipend.​

• Distribute fresh produce and purchased protein and grains to 130 households each week at our Food Hub.​

• Manage the Kent Farmers Market, every Saturday, running weekly June – September, accepting SNAP EBT​
